A collective theatre experience in public space. Eleven international playwrights, eleven voices, eleven perspectives - united by a theme that could hardly be more relevant today: «Borders between us». The format and content of the staged, site-specific audio walk were chosen and decided in discussions within the group of writers. They ask themselves and each other: What connects us? What divides us?
Each WELT/BÜHNE author has written a completely independent, approximately ten-minute contribution as a commissioned work – political, poetic, performative. These eleven short premieres interweave to form a polyphonic theatrical walk around the Marstall in German and English.
The audio walk takes place in all weathers and lasts a maximum of two hours. It begins and ends at the Marstall. Please wear comfortable shoes, and bring rain gear if needed.
